Sweet Hearts

This was a present for a friend of mine, who also made me a lovely present. I just had to repay her and so she requested an artwork of Mario and Peach togheter. And how many romantic images I got of them in my head. This artwork is one of the images of them in my head that I choosed and couldn´t resist to do. This is the result and as you can see, they´re having a romantic evening cuddle.
This drawing was also a big step for me in many ways as well. Since I now can draw Mario, there are so many possibilities ahead now and this truly was one of them. And another thing, I also wished to work on a good background too. I know the fountain stones and such needs alot of improvement. But to be honest, what I really worked on in this background, was the water. The element water is something amazing, beautiful, mystical but hard to master in art it seems. I´m truly not an expert in coloring, but I wish to master one thing that both hypnotises me and inspires me so, water. In this pic the water done by me is the best I´ve done so far. It was hard but it was worth it beacuse water is simply too beautiful.
Other, this artwork took some time to do cause of I decided to work a little extra on this, I mean you can improve your art skills with doing presents for other and it really is a good practice. But I also got an artblock in the middle of the process and so it all stoopped for a time. I really apologize for that but now finally the artwork is done and I´m proud of the results and I´m also glad a present for a friend is also finally finnished.
